About the event

Micropods are small groups of children who come together to play and learn. Pods normally consist of approximately 6 children ​and are a perfect way to ensure that your child is engaging in play in their early years!

Our playgroup curriculum for 6M - 3Y include Science & Nature Play, Art & Messy Play, Early Numeracy & Literacy, Sports, Movement & Music. It is designed to stimulate all areas of children's development, with a focus on gross & fine motor skills, language development, cognitive development and social-emotional development.

Strong Start teachers are qualified teachers in early childhood education and follow play-based pedagogy. Teachers are trained in observing, tracking and reporting children's developmental milestones so that parents and caregivers remain informed on children's progress. Teachers also support nannies in learning and understanding Strong Start's play approach so that play at home can continue throughout!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Strong Start is taking measures to ensure the safety and well-being of children, caregivers and teachers. To this end, teachers will follow strong hygiene protocols including:

  • Wearing facemasks
  • Employing structured handwashing times
  • Implementing social distancing protocols
  • Participating caregivers or parents will be required to wear a facemask and follow social distancing and hygiene protocols.

Monthly Full Pod Fees (half - days)

(up to 6 children)

1 day / week: KES 29,500

2 days / week: KES 52,500

3 days / week: KES 76,500 

4 days / week: KES 95,500

5 days / week: KES 109,500

*Prices above reflect the monthly cost for an entire pod of up to 6 children.
